Pagoda’s Passion was founded on love, on February 14, 2025, by two individuals united through a shared passion for tea and a deep reverence for the culture of Myanmar. What began as simple conversation, soon evolved into something far greater, a heartfelt desire to share a story that is too often left untold.
Myanmar is home to more than 55 million people, made up of countless ethnic groups, languages, traditions, and skin tones. It is a country of incredible depth and beauty, yet for many around the world, it remains unfamiliar, misunderstood, or overlooked. Pagoda’s Passion was created to help change that.
Every detail, from the logo to the packaging has been created with intention and purpose. The pagoda symbol was chosen to honor the countless sacred pagodas found throughout Myanmar, each representing peace, devotion, and resilience. The brand’s signature pink was thoughtfully selected to symbolize love, compassion, and hope, while green reflects nature, wellness, and harmony. One of the founders shared a meaningful reflection: in Myanmar, there are more monks than soldiers. This powerful truth further inspired the brand’s calming palette and peaceful aesthetic, reinforcing Pagoda’s Passion’s commitment to mindfulness, balance, and a gentler way of being.
The other founder is a world traveler, constantly exploring diverse cultures and markets, discovering the unique spices and ingredients that inspire Pagoda's Passion. These journeys inspire the subtle twists found in our teas and coffees, the thoughtful flavor layers that elevate tradition while respecting its roots. Each blend is carefully crafted to balance authenticity with creativity, bringing together global influences and Burmese tradition in a way that feels both familiar and new.
